At Doximity, our mission is to help physicians be more productive so they can provide better care for their patients. Whether it’s connecting with colleagues or streamlining administrative tasks, we’re committed to developing tools that make clinicians’ lives easier and more fulfilling.
One way we’ve supported this mission is through the Doximity Foundation, a private non-profit we launched in 2018. Since then, we’ve been able to support thousands of sustainable global health trips, helping clinicians provide care to underserved communities around the world.
And we’re just getting started.
Why social impact matters at Doximity
Being a “physicians first” company, we believe digital tools can create more efficiency, support clinician autonomy, and reduce burnout. But our mission extends beyond our products. We’re also committed to investing our time and resources toward initiatives that support both clinicians and the communities they serve.
Many of these efforts started from the ground up—born out of employee-led passion projects. Whether it’s volunteering for local charities or offering no-cost telehealth tools to free clinics, our team shows up and gets things done.
And now, all this work has found its home in Doximity.org.
Furthering our mission through social impact initiatives
Our social impact efforts have grown to include a range of initiatives, all rooted in the same belief: that improving clinician well-being and the health of underserved communities ultimately leads to better outcomes for patients.
Doximity.org is our social impact arm which is composed of five initiatives and fueled by volunteerism, innovation and funding. Through this framework, we can make a deeper investment in caring for those that care for us.
Doximity Foundation offers travel grants to physicians and advanced practice providers who are making a global health impact – already reaching over $1.8M across hundreds of trips to over 50 countries.
Doximity for Free Clinics offers telehealth, AI note-taking and clinical reference tools at zero cost to free medical clinics across the United States. We have already supported over 150 free clinics to date.
Physicians Executive Program offers leadership training designed for physicians through a partnership with Stanford Graduate School of Business. While patient care and staff trust often improve with physician executives, they only represent about 5% of hospital CEOs.
Dox Gives is an employee-led initiative that has organized over 1,000 volunteer hours to support local communities.
Doximity Impact supports strategic partnerships, initiatives and grant funding that align with our mission.
Over the years, we’ve been able to partner with values-aligned organizations like Saving Mothers, ReSurge International and National Medical Fellowships. Our goal is to embrace non-profit and industry partnerships with the understanding that we can make the biggest impact by working with others.

“Doximity’s support is truly transformational for our organization. Having a values-aligned partner committed to equity and capacity building is critical—especially now, as we recently lost a $4 million USAID federal grant.
Having private sector partners step up to fund our volunteer flights allows us to direct precious resources to support patients who need it the most.”
Our long-term commitment
As a company, we are investing in a healthier, more sustainable world by committing our profit, time and product to the long-term health and well-being of clinicians and underserved communities.
